The research and development of the WavePlane and its components, started back in 1994, with a home made model tested in the bathtub.
Over the years we have developed the WavePlane in cooperation with different research institutes and educational establishments, these co operations has resulted in various tests and rapports.
To optimize the WavePlane we have build a test basin and many models see the pictures to get an idea of the historical development
WavePlane - the only device in the world, that converts pulsating waves directly into a fast and smooth rotation without any moving parts. To produce electricity, the device needs the wave height of a surface wave.
The director of WPP A/S - Erik Skaarup is the inventor of the device WavePlane who is also the chairman of Danish Wave Energy Association.
WPP A/S is a member of "CA OE" (Coordinated Action Ocean Energy) European Union and a member of "Partnership for wave power" in Denmark Energy.
WPP owns all patents and is shareholder in WPE (WavePlane Electric)
which is licensee and have solo rights for sale and productions world wide for the electric WavePlane.
